Invested in Our Communities
How do you build a strong community?
Start with hard work, teamwork and dedication. Add resilience, perseverance and you have the city that faith built. We are proud to serve our communities and walk side by side with the families, organizations, and businesses that lift up our great community. At First Bank, you will find more than a century of continuous service and a strong history of putting our customers and our community first.
Keeping Our Kids Safe
With the help of our employees, today we were able to donate more than 1000 masks to our Partners In Education school Booker T. Washington Elementary - Wichita Falls.
Thinking of Those in Need
Employees from our Burkburnett location delivered handwritten notes to residents at Sheridan Medical Lodge and Evergreen Healthcare Center.
Meals on Wheels
Parker County Meals on Wheels were in need of food donations. Karen Sandusky and Janet Martin from our Aledo branch dropped off food items at the local fire department for Meals on Wheels.
Helping Our Small Business Customers
Putting customers first means doing everything in our control to help our small businesses succeed. Our staff continues burning the midnight oil to approve as many PPP loans as possible. Our small business customers need us now more than ever. We are committed to helping them succeed.
Casual for a Cause
Each month, First Bank selects a charity to benefit from our Casual for a Cause fund. On Fridays, our employees can show their support by making a donation to that charity and wear jeans. First Bank then matches employee donations. In 2019, through our Casual for a Cause fund, we were able to donate more than $5,000 to various charities!
Wichita Falls Area Food Bank
First Bank is grateful for our employees who made it possible to donate more than 788 pounds of food to the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.
At First Bank, we have invested in our communities since 1907 and continue to invest in future generations. This morning, David Stephenson at our Burkburnett location, dressed as a lumberjack and read “There’s A Monster in Your Book” to children from the Little World Learning Center. Our staff enjoyed it as much as the kids did!
First Bank employees participated in our annual Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest. The winner chooses a charity to receive a donation from First Bank. This year’s winner supported a great cause.
